Acceptable use

Modavio resells capacity from upstream providers. Their policies apply to your usage in addition to these rules, and a breach of theirs is a breach of ours.

You may not

• Generate content that sexualises minors, or that facilitates violence, terrorism or self-harm.
• Build tooling for targeted harassment, mass surveillance, or unlawful discrimination.
• Produce malware, ransomware, or tooling whose purpose is unauthorised access to systems.
• Impersonate a real person or organisation, or produce content designed to deceive about its origin.
• Provide unsupervised medical, legal or financial advice presented as professional judgement.
• Attempt to extract Modavio’s upstream credential, or to reach the upstream provider other than through your own key.
• Resell Modavio access without written agreement, or share a key across unrelated end users.
• Circumvent rate limits or spend controls, including by creating additional accounts.

Automated traffic

Automation is expected and welcome. Keep it inside the published rate allowance, honour Retry-After, and do not retry a request that failed with a 4xx — it will fail the same way and, for tool-bearing requests, retrying is specifically unsafe.

Enforcement

Modavio may suspend a key or an account that breaches this policy, with or without notice where the breach is severe. Unspent credit on an account suspended for a policy breach may be forfeited; unspent credit on an account closed for any other reason is refundable under the refunds policy.
